New Paintings

Hey all, 

It's been a while since I've posted...again. I just get caught up with life! Here are a few paintings I created for Paint Nite. As well as a commission painting of a pet; a gray cat named Monty. Enjoy.

Another snow storm! Which means another day stuck inside. Best not waste it, I thought. Spent about 4 hours painting. Mostly just to practice techniques but also played around with a few concepts. Enjoy. (Black Birds, Scarf, Snowy Princess)

I found this little guy in my emails! It's a painting I made for a close friend of mine for a wedding gift. Really happy with the colors in the bat on this one. He just looks so sweet and innocent. Enjoy.

I moved to Andover with my boyfriend at the beginning of July. But before I left my old apartment, my previous landlord made my roommates and I a huge dinner. He's a class-act. So I painted something for them. There are two versions, the second I believe might be used as a Paint Nite painting. Stay tuned and stay cool ;)

Figure Study- Wirehead

Did a watercolor figure study tonight. I've been slacking on working on basic skills and since I'm looking to explore concept art and graphic novels, doing a figure study would be helpful. From gesture to finish. Enjoy.

Hello all! I hope you had a lovely holiday. New years is rapidly approaching and one of my resolutions is going to be illustration related. As in I'm gonna start busting my butt to be a professional. So here are a few older paintings that I wanted to archive on my blog for potential jobs. I needed a few more examples of my work with acrylics. The first two are modified magic cards and the last is from a college project to illustrate George Orwell's 1984. Enjoy!
